Natalia runs her business as a Vegan Nutritionist at N2veganlife and calls Miami home, which she claims has a nice little selection of vegan spots! She's also the founder of Nourished Life Foods - a quick, tasty, high protein, vegan mix.

Let's find out more about this gorgeous Brazilian entrepreneur with the most genuine contagious smile!

Q: When did you first go Vegan?
A: July 2017

Q: What happened, what was the reason you chose to go Vegan?
A: I started following a plant-based diet in July 2017 after watching the documentary "The China Study". A documentary based on the book "The Most Comprehensive Study of Nutrition Ever Conducted and the Startling Implications for Diet, Weight Loss, and Long-term Health" by T. Colin Campbell and his son, Thomas M. Campbell II. The book advocates for the health benefits of a whole-food, plant-based diet. I fell in love with the diet, so I started watching more documentaries, reading books, and gradually fell more in love with the lifestyle. I began to study more deeply about animal mistreatment and how animal consumption also affects the environment... and that's how I started adopting the vegan lifestyle.

Q: How did you feel when you made the decision to go Vegan?
A: When I decided to go vegan, it was a bit of a rollercoaster. The hardest part? Feeling judged by my family, especially my parents. That was the only negative side, honestly. But going vegan? Best decision ever. I feel lighter, healthier, happier, and more energized. Plus, I'm super proud of myself for helping animals and the planet, and getting my health on track at the same time.

Q: What 3 words best describe how you felt?
A: Lighter. Healthier. Happier.

Q: What was or has been the most challenging part?
A: The most challenging part was facing judgment from the people I love the most: my parents

Q: What was the hardest food for you to 'give up'?
A: Sushi

Q: Did you go Vegan by yourself or did you know others?
A:
My husband I went vegan together

Q: What do you find the most challenging about being around non vegan people?
A: The judgment, but after 6+ years, they finally accepted my lifestyle.

Q: What's it like being Vegan in Miami?
A: Good news is, Miami's got a nice little selection of vegan spots, so finding vegan options is pretty easy, even in regular restaurants.

Q: What would you say has changed the most in terms of Veganism over the course of your journey?
A: So many things have changed, especially my perspective on life. I've come to realize how powerful nutrition is, not just physically but mentally too. I truly believe in the concept of energy, so consuming the body of an animal that was killed cruelly transfers all the suffering and negative energy that the animal experienced onto us. It doesn't make sense to me that an animal should endure such pain just for a few moments of our pleasure. I've also learned that no matter what you do, people will always judge you—even for something as personal as your diet. But in the end, who cares? Just do whatever makes you happy.

Q: What do you eat at least 3-5 times a week?
A:
My diet is based on: Seitan, tofu, a lot of vegetables, fruits, grains and nuts.

Q: What do you find is most challenging when it comes to Vegan Fashion?
A: Expensive

Q: Can you share 3-5 of your favourite Vegan Brands or Products?
A:
Ilia, big mountain foods, eatbetter

Q: What was the funniest/craziest thing that someone has said or you've heard/read about Veganism or about being Vegan?
A:
You need to eat red meat to improve your iron

Q: The #1 reason you are Vegan:
A: My Health
