I went vegan in 2008 and for years I had the hardest time finding designer shoes not made from animals or plastic.
I had the vision to create a Global Iconic Vegan Fashion brand and in Feb of 2020 made a purchase order for my first prototype. 2 weeks later we all know what happened.
Nevertheless, I continued to press on and received my order of next generation materials - I loved these samples of cactus leather I received from Desserto. Meanwhile the research continued, I never had a pair of blundstone's because they were always made of leather and I wanted to know what all the fuss was about. I also wanted to know do we prefer a high heel or a lower heel, a round toe or a pointed toe.
By June 2020 production resumed in Manhattan and by August 2020 I received the very first prototype of our Harlow Chelsea boot! I was ecstatic. It felt like a dream come true. I was obsessed, they fit perfectly and the cactus leather felt super luxurious. My vision is for our V& logo to represent the values of Veganism in a global iconic way.
